Pistachio is a Californian rootstock used for propagation of UCB1.

The best conditions to grow Pistachio are hot, dry climates and moderately cold winters. The largest countries growing pistachios are the USA, Iran and Turkey.

Pistachios are normally a summer harvest where they grow well in drier climates. They make delicious snacks. The fresh nuts are green and packed with high antioxidants and nutrients.
