Hass Avocado is most commercially grown avocado tree worldwide due its highest oil content in all variety of Avocado type fruit.
Hass Avocado can contain between 15% and 23% of oil in each fruit which is why it is the most popular variety. Hass Avocado has reasonably large size fruit weighing between 200 and 350 grams and the skin turns darker as the fruit ripens. It has corrugated, rough skin along the entire fruit.
It is an excellent source of vitamin and minerals.
It can only grow in well drained soil with lots of organic matter and is suitable for any home backyard gardens .
