Coratina Olive trees are originating from Italy. They are often grown in the shape of an inverted conical base with dark green foliage and are excellent as a feature tree.

They have vigorous growth to around 6 meters in height and can grow up to 10 mtrs in open space, depending on soil and care.

This is a fruiting olive tree with a sweet fruit with a small pit and yields a large amount of olive flesh and oil. Coratina Olive is characterized as the highest cultivar that produce phenolic compounds.

These hardy trees are adapted to different soils and different climates, including poor soils – rocky, sandy or heavy soils. It produces abundantly in hot dry weather, but can also grow in southern climates and handle temperatures down to -5 degrees. They prefer full sun and well-drained soil.
